Paint Sprayer and Power Washer Workshop                                        Airless or Finishing Equipment?  Which sprayer is for what job?  What is the proper tip size? Tip wear, Tip maintenance, What about safety and clean-up?  We have the answers for you.  This daylong workshop will give you hands on help from the professionals at Graco. Topics to be covered are not limited to, operation, safety, work piece configurations, tips, pressure settings, maintenance, benefits of spraying, shut down, cleaning and pump maintenance.  In addition you will learn tips for proper pressure washing and proper pressure washing techniques as well as a complete overview of pressure washing systems. M.L. Campbell Lacquer Professional Wood Finishing Systems             This new two day Hands on Seminar and Workshop is focused around the complete line of M.L. Campbell Lacquer products and covers the processes involved in creating many of the hottest trends in wood finishing: Distressing, Crackle, Sand-through, Toning, Full-Fill on Mahogany and Antiquing.  In addition, you’ll learn the following:

·         How to achieve very deep and vibrate colors on wood species such as maple;

·         Different glazing techniques and application methods;

·         How to make maple look like cherry;

·         How to create glass-like finishes on open-grains.

Basic Paint & Paint Quality Institute Certification                                   This 9-day workshop is great for new hires and those seeking employment in the painting industry.  It’s also an excellent refresher course and a general overview of the paint and coating industry for painting veterans. This program runs once a week for 9 weeks.  Participants will test at end of program for PQI contractor certification. 

This in depth program includes a factory tour and paint technology with Kevin Larson, Hirshfield’s Paint Manufacturing.  Learn what makes up paint, paint tinting, primers, interior/exterior paints, what factors determine paint sheen, proper preparation, and application techniques.  (Instructed by Kevin Larson, Hirshfield’s Paint Manufacturing)

Learn every thing you need to know about application tools, brush manufacturing techniques, polyester verses china, and wool versus poly fiber.  Wooster roller covers and brushes regarded as the best in the industry.  You will learn which brush type fits the paint and surface type, and which roller cover will work best in Acrylic, Alkyds, and stains.  This course is a must for every painting professional.  (Instructed by Steve Lencowski, Wooster Brush)
